The Little Karoo is a plant paradise. Here you will find the biggest variety of plants in the world
and Boy or his son, Christo, will show you some of it. To visit this area and not doing a tour of these
very special plants, is like to eat your main course without desert!
Come and see the elephant foot, rhino bush, kraal bush, cracker bush, pig ear plants, mountain ferns,
ox tongue aloe, speck bush, butter tree etc. Most of these plants grow in dry ground, as hard as cement. Such a big
variety of plants together is worth a visit.
R50.00 for a 30 minute tour with Boy, (R25 if you stay at the Lodge) if the 4x4 is available. Boy will identify
about 50 of these most common plants, their uses and there protection mechanisms. The plants in these
mountains are like Gods own garden.

The restaurant tenders for light meals to bus groups over lunch time.
For these people a farm stop is also a very special experience and they
give the guide a hard time to get them together and going again!
Some of the best local wines are sold here.

We can accommodate up to 300 people for a wedding or conference. The venue consists of a bar and a pool.

- Swartberg Mountain Trip
For those people who do not want to drive the Swartberg Pass on their own, a small tour can be arranged in a Toyota double cab. 200km X R5.00 p/km (R1000)
